Hi All,

So have you ever been to a themed wedding? (if you haven't I highly recommend it) Well I was invited to shoot one by my Photography friend and fellow classmate Tammy Hodge to shoot a wedding with her. It was Star Wars themed and I have to say it was amazing. (I mean it was interstellar)

We shot at the Irish Cultural Center, which if you have never been to is amazing, its beautiful in all forms. This wedding was so different from the last, everything was 'nerd' themed and it some how worked with this Irish setting. I loved every minute of it form the getting ready shots, to the individual pose shots. (Each member of the wedding party posed with lightsabers and it was awesome.) I think my favorite shots from this shoot was from when the Bride Jennifer was watching her friends and she was just playing with her vail and the sun was hitting her beautifully. She was just being a happy bride and it really showed in the photos.

One of the struggles we had while shooting was the bride and groom wanted to create this light saber fight with everyone at the very end of the wedding as wells recreate one of the covers of the movie. Let me paint a picture for you. There is one flash behind them lighting the door, one on the camera, and me holding it as I aa standing on top of a wall stretching over it so that the light looks good. (we had to say 1,2,3 just to sync the flashes)

All in all this was so much fun I love every shot even the ones of the lightsaber fight. I hope you Enjoy
